Fayazuddin Ghiasi

Is an Afghan researcher and program coordinator based in Dushanbe, Tajikistan. He currently serves as Senior Research Fellow and Program Coordinator at the Centre for Afghanistan and Regional Studies (CARS). Previously, he held senior roles within Afghanistan’s Ministry of Industry & Commerce, including Director General for Policy and Trade Services and Project Manager (EIF-UNOPS), and served as Afghanistan’s Commercial Attaché in Tajikistan. He also worked in several leadership capacities within the Ministry of Interior. Dr. Ghiasi holds a PhD in Commerce and an MBA in International Business and has published extensively on regional trade, transit, and geopolitics.
